2018 was another successful year for the Bluewater Growing Project. We were able to send $60,500 to the Canadian Foodgrains Bank.
We produced 3,140 bushels of soybeans and 500 bushels of wheat on 88 acres of rented and donated land.
Again this year we were fortunate to receive church donations that helped pay for rent and crop inputs.
44% of the donation was assigned toward the World Renew campaign of the Christian Reformed Church.
44% was assigned toward the food mission projects of the United Church of Canada.
7% was assigned toward the missions of Canadian Baptist Ministries.
5% was assigned toward the Presbyterian World Service and Development.
